Prof. Emmanuel J Favaloro is a Principal Hospital Scientist, in charge of the Haemostasis laboratories at the Institute of Clinical Pathology and Medical Research (ICPMR), located at Westmead Hospital, the largest public tertiary level university teaching hospital in Australia. Prof. Favaloro has co-authored over 450 papers and is the current Editor-in-Chief of Seminars in Thrombosis & Hemostasis, and a member of the editorial/advisory boards of seven other international journals. His primary interest is laboratory testing and diagnosis related to bleeding and thrombosis, particularly in developing and evaluating new or improved diagnostics.
